I will lift up my eyes to the mountains;
From whence shall my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth.
He will not allow your foot to slip;
He who keeps you will not slumber.
Behold, He who keeps Israel
Will neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord is your keeper;
The Lord is your shade on your right hand.
The sun will not smite you by day,
Nor the moon by night.
The Lord will protect you from all evil;
He will keep your soul.
THe Lord will guard your going out
and your coming in
From this time forth and forever.
From whence shall my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth.
He will not allow your foot to slip;
He who keeps you will not slumber.
Behold, He who keeps Israel
Will neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord is your keeper;
The Lord is your shade on your right hand.
The sun will not smite you by day,
Nor the moon by night.
The Lord will protect you from all evil;
He will keep your soul.
THe Lord will guard your going out
and your coming in
From this time forth and forever.

I love that psalm. I find that now I hear the psalms sung in my head even when I'm only reading the words.
The Psalm, I recognize - the creation has not given me a message - although I don't think creations necessarily always come with messages - they just are what they are.
What a pleasant thought - just being what you are! Oops, there was a message after all!!!

tess--what a delightful tune :-)
ss--i guess i am the only one that needs to get a message from my creation...nevertheless, glad you got something out of it. it is what it is, huh?
Hi Lucy,
I guess I'm too in task mode to think about the pic. Being in a practical mood does have it's drawbacks.... :)
I really just wanted to stop by and say I was thinking of you. I just had some fun watching "Charlie Brown's/The Great Pumpkin" on YouTube. :)
I see freedom and joy in the art brought on by the sense of rest and trust from the Psalm. What a lovely combo with the beginning of my day!
thanks, Lucy
hgf--i am going to have to head over and watch "the great pumpkin" myself. thanks for the reminder!!
