the "bored" gargoyle at Notre Dame
view from the top of Notre Dame (400 steps up)
amazing window from the much under-explored St. Severin Church
Jim Morrison of the Doors grave in Pere LaChaise cemetery
wall to wall Monet "Water Lilies" at L'Orangerie Musee
Paris sunset from the Right Bank near the Champs-Elysee
the Arc de Triomphe just after sunset.
It was definitely a surprise-filled day!!!

Wow, what a wonderful mixture of things you've seen and surprised us with today.
I just found in my purse today my remaining carnet tickets that I meant to give you. I'll just have to use them next time!
I remember those water lilies! They seem to disappear the closer you approach them. If you have the chance, see Monet's Giverny garden paintings at the Musee Marmottan. Or wait till your next trip.
I remember seeing those water lilies also - lovely! You've given me and my significant other a lot of good pointers on how we may explore our next travel site:)
