"A good traveler has no fixed plans, and is not intent on arriving." ~Lao Tzu
winging my way toward the city of lights. if all goes well, i will be arriving at the arc de triomphe around 10:00 a.m. thursday morning (2:00 a.m. pst).
i think i will be better prepared to follow lao tzu's wise words once i have landed, found my apartment and dropped off my bags...then begins the "no fixed plans" except, of course, to meet my friend, tess (who i have never before met) for lunch on saturday. we plan to let the wind blow us where it may...in other words, we hope to be quite "good travelers!"

Looking forward to that meeting, fellow traveller!
Have a great trip, I will be thinking about you. And we WANT pictures!
Bon Voyage! I'm so very excited for you and am certain this will be an amazing experience for you!
Hugs and blessings,
I'm reliving my first trip to Paris vicariously through you Lucy. It will be wonderful and amazing and full!
May your path be full of light in the city of lights! Happy travels.
Well alright!!! Take it all in - and it will always be yours, my dear! Awesome that you get to meet Tess - right on! I'm off to check out her blog right now.
Vas-y! Go for it! Have a wonderful, wonderful time! Give my best to Tess, if you remember.
Bon Voyage!!! :))
merci beaucoup, mon amies!!
I finally have a bit of time to sit down and focus … so I’m catching up. I loved the ‘soul collage’ on your Friday feast and the artwork in the next few posts. The Lao Tzu quote made me stop reading in Google Reader and come visit. Methinks I’ll add it to my collection.
Hmmm … I must have been too busy to notice when I left my ‘Bon Voyage’ comment on the 27th. I’ve been way too busy and distracted by or preoccupied with other things these days. Sigh!
And now … I’ll continue catching up on your grand adventure! Oh … lest I forget to mention … when you return you’ll want to check Small Reflection’s ‘Haiku Friday – Thanks for Visiting’ post where I left some ‘friendship awards’ for blogging buddies … but not to worry. They’ll be there when you return.
Hugs and blessings,
